How long will the food last?

All your meals are freshly prepared to order with no added preservatives to extend shelf life.

All products have a shelf life of between 5-7 days.  Apart from Salad dishes and some breakfasts, our meals can be frozen and defrost very well overnight. So feel free to stock your freezer!

You can order for more than one person, this is a win-win situation: you save on delivery charges and we save on packaging.  Simply order all of the food each individual requires in the one order and it’ll all go out in the same box.

Obviously if you need the food to go to two separate addresses then you’ll need to place two separate orders and pay a delivery charge for each.

Do I need to be in to take delivery?

Our food is delivered in a temperature controlled insulated cooler bag/ box.

You do not need to be there to receive it.  We can simply drop it off to a safe location.

If you are living in an apartment or private complex, please leave any codes for accessing doors and gates to ensure our driver can leave your order safely for you until your return.

Please provide ALL additional instructions in the ‘Comments’ section of your order so our drivers can leave your delivery in a safe location until your return.  This can be found on the checkout page.

Is the packaging recyclable?

Our meals are packaged in plastic trays which are suitable for both the oven and microwave and are fully recyclable.  The ice-packs in the coolr bags are re-usable and the frozen water bottles are fully recyclable.  The boxes are made of polystyrene (EPS) and are again fully recyclable but not all recycling facilities will take them.
